Enola Holmes and the Elegant Escapade: Enola Holmes 8

Enola Holmes, Sherlock's much younger and feistier sister, returns in this new adventure in the internationally bestselling series and breakout Netflix sensation.

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Enola Holmes and the Elegant Escapade explores the adventures of Enola Holmes, the much younger sister of Sherlock Holmes, who is now living independently in London and working as a scientific perditorian—a finder of persons and things. This is quite unconventional for a young woman in Victorian England, where women are typically under the near absolute control of their nearest male relative until adulthood.

Enola's friend, Lady Cecily Alastair, is similarly constrained by societal norms. Twice before, Enola has rescued Lady Cecily from the unpleasant designs of her caddish father, Sir Eustace Alastair, Baronet. When Enola is brusquely turned away at the door of the Alastair home, it becomes apparent that Lady Cecily once again needs her help.

Affecting a bold escape, Enola takes Lady Cecily to her secret office, only to be quickly found by Sherlock Holmes, the very person hired by Lady Cecily's mother to locate the missing girl. However, Lady Cecily has already disappeared again, this time loose on her own in the unforgiving city of London.

Even more troubling is Lady Cecily's secret, known by few: she has dual personalities. The first is left-handed, independent, and competent; the second is right-handed, meek, and mild. Enola must find Lady Cecily again before one of her personalities gets her into more trouble than she can manage and before Sherlock can return her to her father. Once again, for Enola, the game is afoot.
