Elastic Island Adventures Rarotonga

Elastic Island Adventures: Rarotonga by Karen McMillan follows the exciting journeys of Kiri, Jed, and twins Emma and Ethan as they frequently travel on 'elastic island', a unique way to traverse the ocean, which sends them pinging to a variety of tropical destinations. This time, they are accompanied by Blong the Cat and Heathcliff the Dog on a trip to the beautiful Rarotonga.

Although they are expecting to relax in the sun, trouble soon approaches. Firstly, they have to deal with Mighty Moko, the resident grumpy gecko living in their room, who is determined to get rid of them at any cost. However, his antics are soon overshadowed by a bolder challenge when all the black pearls on the island are stolen in a daring heist, leaving the thief's clues scattered across the island.

The children set out to solve these clues with determination, but will they succeed even with the help of the wise Mana Tiaki? Can the people of Rarotonga hope to see their precious black pearls once more?

Elastic Island Adventures: Rarotonga stands alone as a gripping, page-turning adventure within the bestselling series set in the South Pacific, perfect for children aged 7 to 12 years.
