About the Author

James Russell is a first-time children's book author. He figures if he's going to write one, he may as well write three. His day job is that of editor of the New Zealand Herald's Element - a sustainable business and lifestyle magazine. He has 12 years in the newspaper business, both as an editor and a journalist/columnist. On the weekends - and by night - he is a father to two young boys whose insatiable demand for a new story both morning and night is the inspiration behind The Dragon Brothers Trilogy. Link Choi is an Auckland-based illustrator and artist. He has illustrated two children's books, 'Unsuitable Weather', and 'Gold in the Hills', both published by Macmillan Education. His work also appears in the collection of the Wallace Arts Foundation. Most recently he has been working at Weta Studios in Wellington, helping bring to life 'The Hobbit'.
