About the Author
Chris Gatcum has spent his entire career in and around photography, working as a photographer, journalist, and author. He has written more than a dozen books on photography, ranging from beginner's guides to digital photography, to books on mastering film, and has edited hundreds more photography titles for numerous publishers. This has provided him with a wide-ranging understanding of almost all aspects of photography, from the technologies underlying the construction of today's digital cameras, to the aesthetics and philosophy of Art, to the inner workings of Photoshop. He currently lives in North Devon, UK.
