The new Doomsday trailer just dropped, and the internet just went wild!
Okay, I have literally been rewatching the same two minutes of footage on loop all morning and my group chats are going absolutely off.
If you have not seen the news yet, Marvel finally gave us our first proper look at Avengers: Doomsday, and honestly? Everyone has gone full feral. Looking at the official movie page, Marvel is bringing out absolute heavy hitters for this one. We are talking the new Avengers squad, the Fantastic Four, the Thunderbolts crew, and even classic X-Men characters all crossing paths. Seeing all these different heroes from separate corners of the universe thrown into the same fight is nuts.
It feels like quite a few subtle hints were dropped earlier this year too as Marvel Rivals started rolling out certain character releases.

If you have seen your mates posting weirdly cropped photos of a doorframe or a helmet reflection today, do not worry, they have not lost the plot. Well, not entirely. Marvel fans do not just watch trailers, we autopsy them. And there is a proper reason for it this time.
That massive Incursions crisis scene inside the new Avengers Tower is insane. Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal) is standing in front of a giant screen explaining the situation to Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), and the Thunderbolts crew. The display shows what looks like three different Earths literally on a collision course with each other.
Just like the rumors suggested, the X-Men heroes are tied right into Doomsday, which confirms these Incursions are directly pulling Earth-10005 into the chaotic mess.
Then things get really heavy. We get a blink-and-you-miss-it shot hinting at the total annihilation of Earth-10005, the original Fox X-Men universe. Between a massive burst of Cyclops' (James Marsden) iconic crimson eye laser, heartbreaking glimpses of Professor Xavier (Sir Patrick Stewart) and Mystique (Rebecca Romijn), and Channing Tatum's Gambit hurling kinetic-charged playing cards right into the middle of the fight, it looks like that whole timeline is getting wiped out in an Incursion right before our eyes.
Meanwhile, back in Wakanda, the tension is just as high. Shuri (Letitia Wright) and M'Baku (Winston Duke) are forced into an uneasy meeting with Namor (Tenoch Huerta Mejía) sitting on his throne, all while Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) tries to broker peace between them. There is so much happening in every corner of the world. The hype is so real, mostly because we still cannot tell what Doctor Doom is actually scheming...
Honestly though, that is the best part. After all the years Marvel Studios spent building up the Avengers series, we just want this to be even bigger than Endgame!
