Today we're excited to share that Book Hero is moving into a brand-new warehouse (literally brand new!) - one that's four times larger than our current home, with room for tens of thousands more books, puzzles, board games and toys.
This will be our third warehouse in less than two years.
At this point, we're not entirely sure whether the business has grown faster than we ever imagined...or whether we're just spectacularly bad at estimating how much space we'll need.
Probably a little of both.
We're still a couple of months away from moving, and we'll have plenty more to share as the big day gets closer. Keep an eye on our emails and social media for behind-the-scenes updates and footage as we attempt the small task of relocating more than 100,000 books, puzzles, board games and toys - all while continuing to dispatch customer orders on-time and keep the business running as normal. It should be...interesting 😅
In more good news for our local Pick Up and bookstore customers - we're not going far. We love being part of the Hobsonville community, so our new home is less than a minute away from our current one. The location is pretty cool...we don't think you'll be able to miss us.
