Dandadan, Vol. 6 by Yukinobu Tatsu tells the tale of a nerd who must combat powerful spirits and aliens, all vying for the secret power of his "family jewel." Who better to fight alongside him than his high school crush and a spirit granny?
Momo Ayase and Okarun stand on opposite ends of the paranormal spectrum concerning what they believe. Their quest to prove each other wrong takes them on a journey filled with secret crushes and paranormal battles they must face to find conviction in their beliefs.
The Kito clan throws Okarun and the gang into an alternate-reality version of Jiji's family home as a sacrifice to the serpent god. There, they meet another of the clan's offerings, a child who possesses the softhearted Jiji. The two merge to become the Evil Eye, which then attacks Okarun and Momo. Okarun chooses to confront the threat alone, sending Momo back aboveground to seek aid. There, she devises a clever plan to eliminate the giant serpent godβbut can she execute it in time to save Jiji?
