Born 1987 in Aachen, Germany, as the child of Turkish parents, bachelorβs degree in applied geography from the RWTH Aachen, masterβs in urban planning from the HafenCity UniversitΓ€t Hamburg, state exam as a building assessor in urban planning, doctorate as Dr.-Ing. at the RWTH Aachen, active since then as an urban planner with a focus on urban design. Rooted in both cultures and languages, and with close ties to the city, Γelik is often in his second home β Δ°zmir.
