Amelia investigates her aunt’s rock star past and gets in touch with her inner superhero in the second book of the hilarious and heartwarming Eisner and Harvey Award–nominated middle grade graphic novel series—now with a brand-new look!

Meet Amelia Louise McBride! She’s a nine-year-old former New Yorker who just moved to a small town with her mum after her parents’ divorce. Being the new kid in school can be tough, but she’s got her mum and Aunt Tanner (who happens to be an ex-rock star), and even some new friends who call themselves G.A.S.P. (Gathering of Awesome Super Pals).

Together, the four members of G.A.S.P.—Amelia, Reggie, Rhonda, and Pajamaman—learn more about Amelia’s mysterious Aunt Tanner’s past, deal with first love, figure out what it takes to be a superhero, and prove that eggs aren’t just a part of a balanced breakfast!

This relatable and hilarious book combines graphic novel artwork and traditional comic strip styles for a dynamic reading experience.
