About the Author

Professor Jack Wood
Professor Jack Wood (PhD, Alberta, Canada) has held numerous senior management positions in higher education, including Deputy Vice-Chancellor International and Corporate at Central Queensland University; Professor of Management, Associate Dean International and Director of International Programs within the Faculty of Business and Economics at Monash University; MBA Director at both the University of Sydney and Monash University; and he was the Foundation Professor in Management at Monash-Mt Eliza Business School. He has published over ninety articles on management education, and is the author of and a contributor to a number of books in this field. His major research interests are knowledge management, the virtual workplace, work time options and improvements to the performance of Australian expatriate management, with special reference to Asia. He has been an Australian delegate to Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings in Osaka, Japan, and has also worked as a consultant for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris and for the New Ways to Work organisation in San Francisco. Jack Wood served as an executive member of the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) for a number of years.

Professor Retha Wiesner
As a Professor of Management and Director of the WiRE Program at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), Retha has over 15 years of experience leading and conducting innovative research and capacity-building programs in high-performance management, entrepreneurship and innovation. Retha's research and scholarly focus is on how business leaders can propel their businesses and maximise performance outcomes for their firms through entrepreneurial strategies, high-performance management and organisational behaviour strategies. Retha has led and co-led externally funded research and capacitybuilding projects worth more than $12 million in the last 10 years, focusing on entrepreneurial leadership, sustainable business development, and regional innovation. She has published extensively in Australia and overseas and is actively involved as a research and capacity-building consultant in Australian businesses. She has co-authored 13 books in the areas of organisational behaviour and management. She is currently leading several projects with an emphasis on leveraging innovative growth strategies and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help entrepreneurial thinkers and leaders leverage their skills, abilities, and capabilities to the next level of performance. She has been announced as finalist in the global Women Changing the World Awards.

Associate Professor Rachel Morrison
Associate Professor Rachel Morrison teaches undergraduate and postgraduate organisational behaviour/work psychology within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), New Zealand. Rachel has an interest in the way the physical work environment impacts employees' wellbeing and productivity, with a particular focus on interpersonal relationships in the workplace. She looks at both the positive (friendly/supportive) and negative (distracting/hostile) aspects of co-worker interactions. Rachel has published articles in various academic Management and Psychology journals, including Group & Organization Management, Applied Ergonomics, Sex Roles and the Journal of Management & Organisation. In addition, she has contributed to several books as either author, co-author or co-editor, including co-editing two research volumes on organisational relationships; Friends and Enemies in Organizations: A work Psychology Perspective and Relationships in Organizations: A work Psychology Perspective.

Dr Aharon Factor
Aharon Factor has considerable teaching and research affiliations with a range of universities both in Australia and Denmark, which has allowed for a diverse range of academic experiences across Europe, Singapore, China and Australia. In 2008, he was awarded a prestigious Australian Federal Government grant to investigate and promote sustainability management in Australian small- and medium]sized businesses. This builds on his PhD in Sustainable Business and previous sustainability consulting experience. By 2009 he attended the Copenhagen COP as a global expert on Sustainability and SME. In 2014, Aharon joined the Australian Academy of Sciences 'High Flier' Think Tank on Climate Change, held in Brisbane and also that year was invited to be a panelist at the United Nations International Singapore CSR Summit. He now also runs a start-up consultancy Sustainable SME.
Aharon has presented and published numerous conference papers, as well as book publications for Routledge and Edward Elgar. In addition, he is currently managing a research project using mixed-method research analysis aimed at advancing and informing sustainable business theory and practice.

Associate Professor Tui McKeown
Tui McKeown is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management within the Monash Business School at Monash University, Australia. Her research focuses on an active examination of small business and the entrepreneurial behaviour of individuals within the changing world of work.
