Reflection by Rebecka Sharpe Shelberg mesmerises with its storytelling and illustrations, which continuously reveal new details. The book's gentle thoughtfulness and tribute to servicemen and women resonate deeply, making it a cherished addition for readers with ties to the military or an appreciation for their sacrifices. The carefully chosen words and beautiful pen and watercolour illustrations complement the story, reminding readers of war's costs and Australia's involvement in remembrance events like Anzac Day.

About the Author
Rebecka Sharpe Shelberg is a librarian, children’s author and general book enthusiast, who lives in Sydney, Australia, with her bearded husband, two small mischievous children, two fluffy dogs and a bearded dragon. Though she is obsessed with books of all kinds, she is particularly enamoured with picture books and would happily spend an entire day (and a year’s salary) in a good bookstore. Her first picture book, Reflection, was a CBCA Notable book for 2017.
Robin Cowcher is a freelance illustrator and currently lives in Melbourne, Australia. She studied at RMIT and worked for many years at The Age as an art director, illustrator and designer. Her picture books with Walker include Little Dog and the Christmas Wish and Little Dog and the Summer Holiday, both written by Corinne Fenton.
