About the Author
Phil Cummings is an award winning author of over seventy books for children (from picture books to novels) in a career that has spanned thirty years.His work has been published in Australia, New Zealand, U.S, Japan, China, South Korea, Canada, U.K. and throughout Europe. He is a registered teacher and has been a Premier's Reading Challenge Ambassador in South Australia since its inception in 2004.
Danny Snell grew up in Adelaide and studied at the Adelaide Central School of Art, and the University of South Australia, graduating with a Bachelor of Design (Illustration). He has worked as an illustrator for a little over 20 years (which makes him feel old).
For much of that time he has worked as a freelancer for ad agencies, design studios, newspapers and magazines. Increasingly though, his path has shifted to illustrating children's books.
