Best Amigas
Best Amigas by Patricia Santos Marcantonio tells the story of Juana Mendez and Diane Conrad, two inseparable friends who are destined to save each other’s lives. Their bond is not defined by superhero feats but rather by a deep friendship that helps them navigate life's challenges.
These girls are always up to something adventurous—indulging in goat burritos on the 4th of July, stealthily climbing onto a garage roof to spy on a couple kissing, and pondering the mysteries of romance. They also have to deal with surviving the antics of the meanest kid in school.
As another summer unfolds, Juana and Diane find their lives intertwined in moments of heartbreak and hope, truly testing and strengthening their bond as the best amigas.
