To Strip the Flesh is centred around Chiaki Ogawa, who has never doubted that he is a boy, although the rest of the world has not been as kind. Bound by his mother’s dying wish, Chiaki tries to be a good daughter to his ailing father.

Although steadfast in his identity, Chiaki faces the challenge of living up to societal expectations and the desires of his family. When the burden weighs too heavily, he embarks on a journey to remake himself in his own image, revealing more than just personal freedom in his transition. Through this transformative process, Chiaki discovers understanding and acceptance from the people who matter most.
