About the Author
Nick Pine (Author)
Nick Pine has travelled all over the world and has experienced many different cultures. He was inspired by a recent trip to Scandinavia, where he learned about the nisee - gnomes who help Santa deliver gifts at Christmas. Nick lives in the North of England with his partner.Di Brookes (Illustrator) Di grew up in Hampshire, always the budding artist and creative person in the family. She studied Surface Pattern Design at Staffordshire University and her career as an illustrator started at Royal Worcester Porcelain Company designing ceramic tableware. From there she changed direction slightly and entered the world of greeting card design. After 10 successful years in-house, she now works as a freelance illustrator living in Leicestershire with her husband and two children. Di works on a variety of briefs from her home studio. When she's not illustrating, you'll find Di spending time with her family and enjoying walks and holidays together by the seaside and getting creative with her children.More from Children's Books
