Hever Castle was the home of the Boleyn family and this brilliant and breathtakingly dramatic novel charts the rise and fall of Anne Boleyn through her wider family, entourage, and servants.

The Boleyns are one of the most controversial and captivating families in British history. Anne Boleyn's turbulent relationship with Henry VIII, who pursued her for seven years before finally making her his queen and then ordering her execution just three years later, has traditionally taken centre stage.

But in the same way as Downton Abbey did for the fictional Crawley family, as well as following the lives of the Boleyns themselves, The House of Boleyn will also bring to life the servants who worked for them and whose lives were completely tied to those of their employers.
