DescriptionGaspar is just six years old when the malevolent forces of the Order first come for him. The Order, a sinister society deeply rooted in the occult, has long exploited his father’s extraordinary abilities to communicate with the dead and harness demonic powers. Presiding over gruesome rituals, they seek to control the very fabric of life and death, sacrificing the unwanted and the disappeared to a dark, unfathomable entity known only as the Darkness. Now, they need a successor, and Gaspar is their chosen one.
The story explores the tense and treacherous journey of Gaspar as he grows up ensnared by the Order’s menacing grip. His only solace is his father, who, despite his own brutal entanglements, is determined to protect his son from the same harrowing fate. The novel masterfully interweaves Gaspar’s coming-of-age with the haunting legacy of his father’s experiences, building a chilling narrative of survival against insurmountable odds.
