Lorna Lovell Stallman lives in Des Moines, Iowa, USA, but grew up on a farm, which was a lot of hard work but also a lot of fun. She enjoyed helping with chores, even when it meant being chased by two incredibly rude sheep. Lorna tried to instil a love of country life in her two children and is still a farm girl at heart. She likes to include animals in her stories and lives with two of her favourite animals, English setter Phoebe and ragdoll cat Indigo.
Based in the United Kingdom, Sally Anderson is a freelance illustrator specialising in children's book illustration. Her artwork blends traditional mediums like ink, print, and watercolour with digital techniques, and she embodies a passion for drawing from observation. Sally creates charming characters that include diversity and humour, ranging from children's characters to animals in a fun and lively style.
