About the Author
Lindsay Hirst is a picture book author and recipient of the Scottish BookTrust New Writers Award, 2022. She spent many years as a preschool teacher and was shortlisted in the Write Mentor Children’s Novel and Picture Book Awards. The Dangerous Pet Lover’s Guide to Dragons was her first picture book.
Alice McKinley is a graduate of the prestigious Cambridge MA in Children’s Picture Book Illustration, and the successful creator of Nine Lives Newton and The Dodos Did It (Simon & Schuster).
