About the Author
Janeen Brian is a beloved Australian children's author, with over 100 books published. Janeen has also had poetry accepted in 20 anthologies and hundreds of poems and stories published in national and international children's magazines. She has won many awards, including CBCA Awards and Speech Therapy of Australia Awards, and her numerous titles have been translated throughout the world.
Danny Snell grew up in Adelaide, trained at the Central School of Art and the University of South Australia and graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Illustration). His first major picture book Whose Tail Is That? was published in 1999 and was shortlisted for the CBCA Award for first-time children's book illustrators. His second book Bilby Moon was nominated as a Notable Book in 2001 and shortlisted for the 2001 Kids Own Australian Literature Award (KOALA). His most recent book One Little Duck was published in 2023 by HarperCollins.
