"My safari began the day my mother died."

This begins the amazing story of Jack Quill, a young man on a mission of revenge to find his father and make him pay.

Pay for what?

In Jack's younger years, his father, J.A. Quill, was the perfect father. He helped Jack with his homework, played catch with him on the weekends, attended Jack's baseball games, and took him to the zoo, where he taught him about the animals. But the special times they shared were when his father read to him about adventures in books like How I Found Livingstone by Henry Morton Stanley.

They spent hours reading and discussing how Stanley endured disease, floods, droughts, and starvation until he found Dr. Livingston in the deepest part of Africa. The famous greeting Stanley gave to Livingston — "Dr. Livingston, I presume?" — became a phrase that sealed a bond between Jack and his father, a reminder of the love of adventure they shared.

But tragically, that phrase would one day seal their bond forever.

Jack was twelve years old when his father deserted him to go on an adventure of his own. Years later, when Jack's mother finally realised her husband wasn't coming home, she gave up all hope and died. That's when Jack vowed to find his father and make him pay for breaking his mother's heart.

My Safari: A Son's Revenge is a gripping, action-packed novel about revenge and forgiveness. In this tale, a young man travels from his Virginia home to East Africa on his journey of revenge. The result is an adventure filled with obstacles, danger, and plenty of life lessons.

Follow along as he comes face to face with the man who abandoned him and his mother in this thrill ride set against the backdrop of illegal poaching in Africa.
