The Reaper
The Reaper
From a thrilling new debut voice comes a dark and gripping urban fantasy, set in the heart of a hidden world beneath the streets of London β perfect for fans of Legendborn and Ben Aaronovitch.
Amy is an empath, able to sense the auras of the supernatural creatures that stalk London at night. But, sorely lacking in knowledge, she spends night after night searching for answers.
Gerald is a Reaperβa weapon for hireβon the verge of his Awakening. He is on the cusp of coming into his power and becoming the man his family needs him to be. The man they demand he be.
When Amy stumbles across Gerald one night, she notices his strange aura, unlike anything she has felt before. Afraid but desperate to know more, she follows him, and he makes her an offer she can't refuse. If she becomes his partner, he will introduce her to a world she has only ever felt the shallow surface ofβthe secret underground city.
And their first mission together: find a girl who murdered her own parents.
