Jacinta Froud has been writing stories and poems since she was knee high to a grasshopper. She is a teacher and a Mum to three children, who love listening to her silly stories and provide constructive criticism when poked. Jacinta calls Canberra home with her husband and children, a boisterous beagle and a few rogue chooks. Jacinta is the author of Jingle Belly and The Perfect Book, which are both rhyming picture books. Her favourite past-times include, hanging out with her family and friends, writing stories, quiet time, laughing until she's crying and making silly animal noises.

Cat MacInnes is a freelance illustrator, based in Melbourne. Born to an artist father and ceramicist mother, she was always going to be into art. Her works are gentle and whimsical, with use of strong bright colours and polished vectors. Cat illustrates all sorts, including books, greeting cards, magazine covers and portraits (of people AND pets). When Cat is not working, she likes gardening, thrifting, and sticking googly eyes on things around the house! But mostly Cat loves hanging out with her family, and her little dog named Fizzy.
