After years of peace following his victory over Boo, Goku finds himself longing for the thrill of battle once more. Life on Earth has become mundane, but new dangers are always on the horizon for our hero. With each passing day, threats that could shake the universe to its core are looming, and Goku is ever-ready to leap into action. In Dragon Ball Super, Vol. 17, the story takes an exhilarating turn as Goku and his friends face an unprecedented challenge on planet Cereal.
Granolah, the lone survivor of the Cerealian race, harbours a fierce desire for revenge against the Saiyans, whom he blames for his people’s annihilation. Manipulated by the conniving Heeters, Granolah’s vendetta leads him into a brutal clash with Goku and Vegeta. The Heeters' deceitful machinations have painted a target on the Saiyans, and Granolah is convinced that his cause is just, even if it means fighting to the death. This intense battle is a test of strength, willpower, and the power of truth.
As the fight escalates, Vegeta becomes increasingly suspicious of the circumstances driving Granolah's fury. Sensing the lies woven by the Heeters, he begins to unravel the secrets behind the young warrior's deep-seated hatred. But can Vegeta uncover the truth before irreversible damage is done? And, more crucially, can he convince Granolah to see reason amidst his blinding rage?
