While walking their dogs, a child happens upon a mysterious place with a secret door where insects are gathering. When a magic stone is pushed, the door opens, and a Samurai appears. Frightened, the dogs run into the hole followed by the child, and they shrink in size and enter a mystical world of insects.

Each maze provides a new challenge, with clues and facts about the insects they will encounter in each new setting. The goal is to solve each challenge throughout their travels to find the dogs and return to where they started. Clues are offered to help solve each maze, as well as an answer key.
