The Ragwitch
Garth Nix's powerful first fantasy for younger readers, The Ragwitch is a chilling tale of witchcraft, with its starting point in Australia.
A classic fantasy that moves between the real world of Australia and a magical world dominated by the sinister and destructive The Ragwitch.
Quiet, easygoing Paul never expected to be cast in the role of saviour, but his strong-willed sister, Julia, needs his help when she falls prey to the Ragwitch and is trapped inside the creature's tortured mind.
Drawn inexorably into this dangerous otherworld, Paul battles for Julia's very existence - and his own.
