About the Author

ELIZABETH WEITZMAN is an author, journalist, and longtime film critic, most recently for the New York Daily News, where she covered film and entertainment for fifteen years. She has reviewed movies and interviewed hundreds of celebrities for the New York Times, New York Observer, Village Voice, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, Interview, Time Out New York, and more. In 2015, she was named one of New York's Top Film Critics by The Hollywood Reporter--one of only three women that year to make the list. In addition to being a member of the prestigious New York Film Critics Circle, Weitzman holds a master's degree in cinema studies from NYU and is the author of thirty-two books for children and young adults.
