The Secret of the Magic Pearl takes place in an Italian coastal town, where Hector lives with his family at the Marina. They organise tourist expeditions to uncover the many wonders of the sea. Hector dreams of becoming a deep-sea diver, just like his father. However, their livelihood is threatened when an unscrupulous entrepreneur opens a newer centre next door, forcing them to close their business. This man is determined to find the legendary Pearl to sell it for profit. Hector must find a way to thwart his plan to protect what he values most: the sea, his family, and his dream.
