The Secret Lives of Unicorns is praised for its captivating illustrations, reminiscent of a vintage picture encyclopedia, which beautifully blend fantasy and educational aesthetics. The book's earnest narrative aims to inspire readers, particularly children, to engage in environmental conservation efforts, such as picking up litter and promoting native plants, while providing detailed and imaginative portrayals of unicorn species and their environments.
