Shell We Dance?
Simon has tons of ideas about how to make his class's dance routine shine for the school showcase, but it soon becomes clear that he might have too many ideas and his friends are having trouble keeping up.
Simon has lots of ideas about an upcoming dance performance—maybe too many ideas—in the sixth book of The Not-So-Tiny Tales of Simon Seahorse chapter book series.
Simon and his friends learn that their class is going to perform in a school-wide showcase, and they are so excited. What should they do? A play? A song? Simon suggests they create a dance, and everyone agrees that’s perfect! They also agree that he should be their choreographer—after all, Simon does love a spotlight. And he has lots of ideas about how to shine. But it soon becomes clear that he might have too many ideas. And his friends are having trouble keeping up. Can Simon figure out how to settle on a vision—and put on a great show?
With easy-to-read language and illustrations on almost every page, The Not-So-Tiny Tales of Simon Seahorse chapter books are perfect for emerging readers.

About the Author
Cora Reef has been telling tales for as long she can remember. She might not have grown up in a large family like Simon’s, but her big imagination has always kept her company. Cora lives near Boston, Massachusetts, with her family, where she is never far from the ocean.
Jake McDonald graduated from the University of Brighton with a degree in illustration and now specializes in digital illustration for kids. His work can be found across the world, proudly sitting on bookshop shelves in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Taking a playful approach to illustration, Jake is inspired by all things storytelling, from board games to Studio Ghibli. He credits a childhood meeting with Chris Riddell for showing him the potential for the career that he loves.
