It’s always hard to be the new kid—Chloe knows that better than anyone. But for the first time, in her new foster home, Chloe feels like she doesn’t have to hide. Clarkson lives in New Orleans with his dog, Avery, and a collection of notebooks filled with stories waiting to be brought to life. Julie Jarema is a writer and illustrator. She graduated from Bard College with a degree in written arts. When she’s not making up stories, you can find her going on backyard adventures and sending snail mail.
