This fun, interactive collection of brain-teasing puzzles will entertain children for hours and hours as they search for the right word to complete each grid.
These stimulating puzzles are graded from Easy to Expert level. Puzzlers must guess what the correct word is, deducing from previous words in the grid what letters go where. A clue means there is only one correct solution to each puzzle, and answers can be found at the back of the book.
Great for developing kids' vocabularies and an ideal source of screen-free entertainment, this collection will keep kids busy for hours. This book is the perfect gift for any young puzzlers who can't get enough of the sensation word game and wish they could do more!
How does Wordle work on paper?
All the rows are filled in except the last one.
The level of difficulty is due to the number of correct letters shown in the grid.
Each letter has a different colour: white on black = correct letter in correct place; black on grey = correct letter in wrong place; black letter on white = wrong letter, wrong place.
Just like the online game, it is a process of elimination and the clue at the top means that only one answer can be right.
The introduction contains clear instructions on how to play, and answers are given at the back of the book.

About the Author
Roland Hall has worked as a Commissioning Editor of puzzle books for a number of years. He was responsible for book publishing with many bestselling puzzle brands, including Mensa, The Puzzler and Take A Break, and devised a number of highly popular themed puzzle books and packs on subjects as diverse as Sherlock Holmes, Star Trek, Pride and Prejudice and Dante's Inferno. He has written and contributed to many quiz and puzzle books, including Anagram Challenge and Wordle Challenge for Kids.
Tim Dedopulos is a writer, editor and game designer with nearly 100 published works to his name in fiction and non-fiction, from horror and SFF to history, puzzles and popular culture.
