I've been a fan of the horror genre since I was young, I remember making my way through every R L Stine book at the local library and then needing more I turned to Stephen King. Much like Lizzy, I remember reading The Shining, It and Misery as well as watching the movies when I probably shouldn't have lol. To me Stephen King is true to his title as the King of Horror!
When I was shown The Art and Craft of Stephen King by Hachette Aotearoa I was already mentally adding this to my own wishlist. Then when I attended the NZ Booksellers Conference they had a finished copy which I managed to have a sneak peak of and wow it looked amazing!
It's a chunky read at 648 pages and packed with full colour images. It covers all of Stephen King's work and his path over the years in becoming one of the greats in the horror thriller genre.
