If you're looking for your next fiction read, the new releases this week are stacked full of them! Here's everything you need on your radar this week.
Non-Fiction New Releases!
This week brings a plethora of amazing local non-fiction reads - from political memoirs, books about modern fatherhood here in Aotearoa, and cookbooks for the person who loves meat. We have signed copies available for both 'Go Hard or Go Home' by Kiri Allen, and 'Marrow', the stunning new nose to tail cookbook by Auckland local Nick Thomson. I'm also so excited to have Louis Davis' guide to modern fatherhood finally here because I just know that so many fathers out there are going to find laughter and relatability in it's pages.
Tim F's pick this week is Shane Cameron's memoir, 'Mountain Warrior'. Here's what he had to say:

Fiction New Releases!
In fiction this week we have hilarious sequels, cosy fantasy, my new favourite romantasy debut, a cute rom-com, and a novel you need to read before the movie comes out.
I absolutely loved 'Steelborn', a debut romantasy by Taylor J. LaRue that reminded me why I love the genre so much. It's a killer combination of excellent action packed plot, and a slow burn romance between a thief and an immortal. It's really, really, good.
I'm also now desperate to read 'The Dog Stars' by Peter Heller after seeing it described as a hopeful story about the end of the world.
Children's New Releases!
Don't worry - there's something for the tamariki too, especially if like us they are more than a little obsessed with a certain Heeler family! We have a brand new board book for 'Seesaw' (the one where one little fluffy pup can make all the difference!) and a Bluey Golden Book with one of our family's favourite Bluey games, 'Magic Xylophone'.
My children's book pick this week is the stunning new non-fiction picture book, 'Tākapu The Lone Hunter' by Ned Barraud (I have a bunch of his books already!).
This is the perfect mix of non-fiction but with an action/adventure story about a mother gannet on the hunt for food for her chick back on the land. It's a picture book kids will love, but it also helps connect them to nature and to our native taonga that are out there battling the elements.
