Famous Figures of Ancient Times allows children to make articulated puppets of notable figures from ancient history. Cut them out and assemble with a hole punch and mini brads. Use your imagination to make them move and animate the true stories of history. Inspire your child with this engaging history craft, perfect for those eager for more hands-on activities and who love crafts. It can also motivate reluctant learners. Make 21 Jointed Paper Dolls from Ancient History

The 21 famous people featured in the book come in two versions: one pre-coloured and one for colouring. The card stock pages make sturdy paper dolls in ancient costumes. You may laminate the pages before cutting them out to enhance their durability. Every paper doll is labeled on the back with a letter key for easy identification and assembly. Cut out the pieces, use a 1/8-inch round hole punch at each joint, and secure a mini brad through each joint hole to create a movable historical character!

Includes Facts and a Reading List

The beginning of the book contains a brief description of each person along with a list of books for reading aloud. This list can serve as a teaching resource for books to accompany the creation of the jointed paper dolls. Use these historical dolls with biographies, lap books, timelines, or any ancient history curriculum.

Famous Figures of Ancient Times promises hours of fun and educational play for hands-on learners. Build the Great Pyramid with Khufu, rule ancient Egypt with Hatshepsut, climb Mount Sinai with Moses, battle the Spartans with a Greek hoplite, and ride with Hannibal and his war elephants as he attempts to defeat the Romans. Learn while playing with paper dolls from Famous Figures of Ancient Times!
