About the Author

Carl Wilkinson is a writer and editor with over 20 years' experience. He has written for The Financial Times, The Observer, The Telegraph and The Times, alongside writing books for children. Carl lives with his family in London.

Grace Helmer is a Brighton-born illustrator currently based in South London. She uses strong brush strokes to create her rich, ethereal oil painted illustrations. Natural forms, people watching and a sense of adventure inspire Grace's playful and colourful work. Some of her clients include: Apple, The New Yorker, Penguin Random House, and The Washington Post.
