Next in the Enid Blyton for Grown-Ups series as Julian, George, Dick, Anne and Timmy the dog become caught in a web of confusion, frustration and failure . . . and Gran becomes an overnight sensation.
Five Get Gran Online tells the story of the Five heading north to visit their grandmother, Granny Barnard, whom they haven't caught up with for many years since she remarried. She is alone over the Easter weekend, so the Five decide to look after her and reconnect.
They are shocked to realise it's been so long that they don't recognise her at all. During their visit, they attempt to help her with her computer. Initially, they try to fix her iTunes account, and then her internet banking; it's the least they can do! However, everything they touch seems to turn to dust. They end up inadvertently cutting her off from the internet, the gas, and the electricity, reducing her to a state of wartime-like privations. Thankfully, a toddler from next door steps in and fixes everything.
They return home, somewhat with their tails between their legs, only to discover that with their help, Gran has learned to make videos and has become an internet sensation.
