Barry Mault is a prominent member of the International Guild of Knot Tyers (IGKT). His main interest is in practical knots, although he also works with parachute cord, making small decorative items.
William Potter is a talented and versatile author of children's and adult non-fiction and comic books. He specializes in writing clear, easy-to-understand science and history books.
The consultant, David Baugh, is a retired chemical engineer from Oklahoma, USA. He has been a member of the International Guild of Knot Tyers for over 15 years. He enjoys knotting projects such as macramé and creating knotted necklaces, bracelets, bell pulls, and name tag lanyards.
