Which New Zealand Bird? makes bird identification really easy. Simply note where you spotted the bird and how big it is, then follow the simple steps to find out which bird it is.

Included in one book are all 96 birds likely to be seen by the beginner in New Zealand, whether native or introduced. The book features distribution maps for each bird and detailed illustrations by Dave Gunson, showing the striking differences between the male and female forms, and juvenile and adult forms.

Each bird is assigned a code from 1-100, indicating how easy the bird is to find. Easy and accurate identification is ensured with Crowe's unique bird-spotting keys.
