Description
A Wild Child’s Guide to Endangered Animals is a bold menagerie of the world’s weird, wonderful, and disappearing animals, perfect for young adventurers and budding conservationists.
We know the plight of the mighty elephant and the charismatic chimpanzee—but what of other vanishing species, whose stories are not so often told?
Mysterious baby dragons of the underworld, the dodo’s long-lost cousin, gargantuan lobsters, and incredible shrinking reindeer—all need our help and our attention.
In this exquisite treasury, bestselling illustrator Millie Marotta celebrates the lesser-known species that are at risk of disappearing from the world today. With each animal intricately illustrated in full colour, alongside their own unique story, this is a wonderful and surprising gift, offering the chance to fall more in love with the natural world, and think about how to help save it.

About the Author
Millie Marotta is a freelance Illustrator working from her studio by the sea in a little corner of West Wales. As a child she was surrounded by nature in all its glorious forms and it was during these early years that she developed an obsession with all things flora and fauna, later going on to study Wildlife Illustration. A fascination with the natural world, an appreciation of decorative design and a keen eye for detail are at the core of Millie's work. In 2014 Millie released Animal Kingdom - A Colouring Book Adventure, which went on to become a Sunday Times and New York Times bestseller. Since then Millie has created a further five colouring books, loved by millions of fans the world over. Above all else her intention is to create beautiful work, which both captivates and charms.
