Noragami Volume 8
"A Kodansha Comics Trade Paperback Original"--Colophon.
Noragami Volume 8 by Adachitoka is part of Kodansha's latest U.S. hit series, a supernatural action-comedy with themes reminiscent of popular titles like Bleach, Soul Eater, and Death Note. Look out for the anime DVDs and Blu-rays coming this summer from FUNimation!
This series features engaging characters that appeal to both female and male audiences, ensuring strong crossover appeal. Suitable for readers aged 16 and up, this is an ongoing series.
Yato is a homeless god without even a shrine or worshippers. To achieve his ambitious goals, he's established a service to assist those in need (for a small fee), hoping to eventually raise enough money to construct the lavish temple of his dreams. Not picky about the jobs he undertakes, Yato tackles everything from finding lost kittens to helping a student overcome bullies at school.
In a twist of fate, Yato encounters Hiyori, a human who tries to save him from being hit by a bus. Hiyori is struck by the bus but manages to avoid serious harm. Interestingly, she experiences an unusual transformation that allows her to separate her spirit from her physical body. Yato appears to be somehow involved or accountable for this change in Hiyori. Could Hiyori be the divine weapon that Yato needs?
