Marian Potter wrote the classic Little Golden Book The Little Red Caboose, published in 1953. It has never been out of print. TiborGergelywas born in Hungary in 1900 and emigrated to the US in 1939. He went on to become one of the most prolific early illustrators of Little Golden Books. His classics includeTootle,The Little Red Caboose,andScuffythe Tugboat.He died in 1978.
