The Majorly Awkward BFF Dramas of Lottie Brooks
From the hilarious and bestselling author Katie Kirby comes a brand-new story in the beloved Lottie Brooks series. In The Majorly Awkward BFF Dramas of Lottie Brooks, we find Lottie navigating the challenges of her first official relationship, a mischievous new pet, and the ever-complicated dynamics of her friendship group.
Lottie finally has what she's always dreamed of—she and Daniel are officially a couple! Everything seems to be going perfectly, except for the increasing spite from Amber, who is more jealous than ever. Amber can’t stand the fact that Lottie has a boyfriend while she remains single, so she takes the drastic measure of handing out application forms at school to audition potential suitors for herself.
As if that weren’t enough, Lottie’s friend Jess decides to come out to the group, confessing that she might be gay and has a crush on someone in their school. It’s a time of change and revelation, and Lottie finds herself trying to support her friends while managing her own life.
Adding to the chaos, Toby is determined to fulfil his New Year's resolution of getting a dog. The entire Brooks family (except for Mum) agrees with Toby, and they eventually break her down. Enter Pot Noodle, a lovable but very naughty and destructive cockapoo. Pot Noodle brings joy but also a lot of mayhem into the household, and Lottie has to figure out how to train him while juggling school, her friends, and her new relationship.
Between her boyfriend and the new dog, Lottie finds her free time evaporating, which leaves the Queens of Eight Green feeling neglected and upset. Will Lottie be able to balance her life, keep all her friends happy, and stop Pot Noodle from wreaking havoc, especially when he won’t stop pooing on the carpet?
Join Lottie in this laugh-out-loud adventure full of relatable tween drama, heartfelt moments, and the indispensable wit that only Lottie Brooks can deliver.

About the Author
Katie Kirby is a writer and illustrator who lives by the sea in Hove with her husband, two sons and dog Sasha. She has a degree in Advertising and Marketing and after spending several years working in London media agencies, which basically involved hanging out in fancy restaurants and pretending to know what she was talking about, she had some children and decided to start a blog called 'Hurrah for Gin' about the gross injustice of it all. Many people said her sense of humour was silly and immature so she now writes children's books. Katie likes gin, rabbits, over-thinking things, the smell of launderettes and Monster Munch. She does not like losing at board games or writing about herself in the third person.
