Description

A beautifully written and illustrated picture book about precious times between caregivers and children From Rebecca Walker, mother and bestselling author, comes Time for Us - her debut children's book dedicated to the precious time we spend together. To Jackson, Mama is the most important person in the world. But when she has to work, his imagination can only keep him entertained for so long. Who else can he share everything with, from the tallest tree to the tiniest hummingbird? But when their \"time for us\" begins, Jackson can show Mama the amazing world around them - ants making their homes, mangoes turning from green to orange, the biggest tree he has ever seen... And their love for each other grows with every moment they spend together. Drawing on Rebecca's own experience of being a working mother struggling to make time for her son, this charming story is inspired by the theory that just 20 minutes of quality time a day between caregiver and child benefits their relationship in multiple ways.
