W Juliet, Vol. 8 by Emura explores the intriguing journey of Makoto Amano, who dreams of becoming an actor. However, his stern father has dictated that the only way Makoto can pursue this ambition is by spending the last two years of high school living as a girl!

At his new high school, Makoto quickly befriends Ito Miura, a popular tomboy and fellow drama enthusiast, who is also the only student to uncover his secret. But as their friendship deepens, could there be more to their relationship than just camaraderie?

The plot thickens when Makoto's father attempts to force his sister, Akane, into an arranged marriage. Akane is willing to sacrifice her own happiness to help Makoto achieve his dream. Yet, can Makoto allow Akane to marry a stranger just for his own chance at acting success?

Adding further complication is a mysterious and handsome man who continually intervenes to aid Akane. The story takes another twist when Tsugumi invites Ito to the beach, leading the entire group on an unexpected adventure that feels too surreal to be true.
