A celebration of British heritage, Trusted Guardians explores the storied history and current roles of the monarch's personal bodyguards, a position they have held since 1660. They hold an iconic position in British society as keepers of heritage and ceremony, recognised globally as the benchmark of British pageantry and national identity.

In public ceremonies, the women and men of the regiment present themselves as one military unit, their uniforms blending all individuals into a single ceremonial and fighting entity.

This book delves behind the scenes to explore the individuals that compose this formidable regiment, both in training and recreation, as well as during moments of ceremonial splendour.

The photography, captured over nearly two years, depicts the timelessness of regimental life and particularly highlights the companionship between Horse and Soldier.
