Thirteenth Text - Special Edition

A manuscript sealed inside a Vatican tomb for six centuries. A restorer who doesn't believe in things she can't touch. And a text that was never meant to be found.

Elena Marchetti works with her hands and thinks in measurements. When she uncovers a grimoire hidden inside a Vatican tomb, she expects a historical find. What she gets is something else entirely.

The manuscript was written in 1437 by Fra Benedetto da Norcia—a monk who began seeing visions he couldn't explain and recorded them in coded Latin before someone made sure he never finished. The niche where he hid it was walled up the night he died.

What Elena finds inside is not a religious text. It is a description—precise, methodical, terrifying—of a mechanism. An epidemic. And a cure that Fra Benedetto wrote without knowing it was a cure.

The Vatican has known since 1947. Seventy-nine years of silence.

Thirteenth Text - Special Edition by Karmen-Ita, invites readers to uncover these mysteries with Elena.
