Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?

Rosemary Radford Ruether praises the book as a monumental work that recognises the importance of art, architecture, and music, as well as recent scholarship on women in Christian intellectual history, deeming it indispensable for introductory courses. Kathleen Sands notes that it is a rare history text that is compelling and difficult to put down. William McDonald highlights how Miles presents Christian thought as an integrated, gendered ecclesial body, making any separation of intellectual and social history incomplete compared to this work.
