In 2024, he won the Aurora Award for the Best Graphic Novel Category with A Call to Cthulhu, and he was the Senior Animator on BAFTA and International EMMY award-winning preschool series Hey Duggee. A Canadian, Norm currently resides in the UK. The Junction was his first foray into the world of graphic novels since his teenage years.
