All four of C. J. Tudor's novels have been Sunday Times Top 10 bestsellers, and the fifth is her twistiest yet.

Lisa was the only survivor of a school shooting perpetrated by one of her classmates. Before turning the gun on himself, he said, "All of this is because of you."

Years later, Lisa is returning home for the first time in decades with her young daughter, Ripley. But when Ripley saves a man's lifeβ€”and unwittingly steps into the spotlightβ€”she knows they must hide. Because a man is hunting people connected to Lisa's past. Five people have already perished at his hands, and now he has his sights set on number six: Lisa.

The Drift is a gripping tale of survival, betrayal, and confronting the shadows of one's past.
